QR Code Genie ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

QR Code Genie does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:

We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information.
We do not track your location.
We do not collect device identifiers for advertising or analytics purposes.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
We do not access your contacts, photos (beyond saving QR codes you explicitly generate), or other personal data.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

QR Code History: Records of QR codes you have created and scanned, including the content and timestamps. This data never leaves your device.
Usage Count: A simple count of how many QR codes you have created, used to track your free tier usage. This is stored locally and not transmitted.
Subscription Status: Your subscription status is managed by Apple through StoreKit and RevenueCat. We do not store payment information.

4. Camera Access

The App requests camera access solely to scan QR codes. Camera data is processed in real-time on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

5. Photo Library Access

The App requests photo library access solely to save QR code images that you explicitly choose to save. We do not access or read any existing photos in your library.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Apple StoreKit / RevenueCat: Used exclusively for subscription management and purchase verification. RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction data through Apple's App Store infrastructure. For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any personal information from any users, this applies by default.

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by deleting the App from your device. No data is stored on our servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
